PARP Highlights Orei Health: Painless, At-Home Blood Collection in Minutes

We are proud to share that the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) featured Orei Health in their official publication, recognising our mission to transform how patients experience blood diagnostics.

Orei Health is developing an innovative technology that allows patients to safely and conveniently collect capillary blood samples at home — without needles, pain, or the need to visit a clinic.

A new standard in diagnostics

Our method gives patients a choice:

  • the traditional blood draw at a clinic, or
  • a certified, safe, and comfortable self-collection kit to use at home.

By integrating patient needs, medical requirements, and modern technology, we aim to create a diagnostic process that is faster, more accessible, and patient-friendly. The Orei One device is designed to be intuitive and ergonomic, enabling self-collection — even for people without medical training. Combined with our digital platform, patients and medical partners can track each step, from sample collection to result delivery, building transparency and trust.

Funding as a growth catalyst

Early on, Orei Health focused on building and testing prototypes using our own resources. However, validating the technology required further investment. Funding from the PARP programme allowed us to:

  • develop the technology,
  • involve experts in bioengineering, mechanical design, and prototyping,
  • validate our product with target users,
  • accelerate development without giving up equity.

This support has enabled us to reach a higher technology readiness level and expand the scope of our work.

Next steps

  • launching our own production to deliver initial batches of Orei One,

  • securing our intellectual property to protect the uniqueness of our technology,

  • expanding our team with additional specialists in engineering, regulatory affairs, and business development,

  • preparing for international scale-up

This is only a fraction of our plans, but we can’t talk about everything publicly 🙂

"We hope that in the future, patients receiving a blood test referral will have a choice: go to a collection point or receive an approved kit for self-collection at home. This paradigm shift requires not only the mature technology we are developing, but also a new approach to diagnostics that places greater emphasis on patient convenience and the ability to conduct tests in a more flexible and individualized manner,"
